Health Deals NYC: Another Local Deal Site
I've tried to introduce all of your health and fitness fiends of New York to some deal sites that can help you get the best price on any activity you'd like to try out. Health Deals New York is one more of these group buying sites, announced about a year ago and run by health and wellness web entity Everyday Health. While almost every health and wellness deals site has their shtick (deals at studios you wouldn't normally be able to afford, packages to super upscale spas, or discounts on gym memberships around the five boroughs) Health Deals is focused savings (up to 80%) on local health and wellness products and services.
Everyday Health's discount site is fairly general, offering select local businesses with good deals on personal health and the local economy at the same time. To get started, sign up and get deals to your inbox as frequently as you'd like by city or zip code. Like the many other sites out there, namely Daily Candy's healthier offerings, after you sign up, find a deal you want, buy it, and then follow instructions for redemption. Seems easy enough, right?
While the deals include saving on fitness and health locally (the offerings in the five boroughs are very complete, we like the fact that this site, in addition its breadth of offerings (read gym memberships, yoga classes, Pilates sessions, massages, spas, makeovers, skincare treatments, and teeth whitening), go beyond to include more general healthy living deals, such as healthy dining, entertainment, shopping and more. While fitness packages are fantastic, these healthy everyday living options allow us to make healthier choices while also watching our wallets.
